MM-EFIMOVSKY timber factory (Boksitogorsky district, the Leningrad region)
MM-EFIMOVSKY timber factory is a subsidiary of Austrian concern Mayr-Melnhof Holz GmbH.
According to a contract on creation of a structured cable system,
Bureau of Cable Technologies professionals have developed and realized
a project of a new intelligent cable system with 200 communication
ports.
Over 7 km (4.35 miles) of a copper cable Cat-6 was wired through the factory area occupying some 40 hectare (98.84 acres).
Ten stand-alone buildings were integrated by a unified information
network segmented into structured subsystems in compliance with the
work space topology.
The structured cable system is based on the open architecture principle
subject to international standards and Russian GOSTs.
Cable manufactured by RiT Technologies, ESTAP telecommunication racks,
Hyperline fiber cables and RiT Technologies panels have been used while
executing the project. The SCS is managed by PatchView PV MAX
intelligent control system.
The system has passed tests and was successfully implemented at the factory.
